Spotted at MATEXPO 2025: the POWERSCREEN HL75 Conveyor Belt – maximum power in a compact design.

At the GM Recycling booth at MATEXPO, one machine was an absolute must-have: the POWERSCREEN HL75 conveyor. According to company manager Brecht Martens, it is “the cream of the crop among conveyors”—and anyone who sees the machine immediately understands why. The POWERSCREEN HL75 isn’t just any conveyor belt, but a fully configurable powerhouse that grows with the customer’s needs.

    Fully customizable

What sets this machine apart is the enormous range of options. GM Recycling builds and installs many of these options entirely in-house, fully tailored to the customer’s application. The version at MATEXPO, for example, was equipped with:
    • heavy-duty conveyor belts,
    • ceramic-lined drive drums,
    • a height-adjustable discharge belt,
    • and extra-heavy-duty oil motors.
    • Fully armored hopper

“You ask, we deliver,” says Brecht. “Every POWERSCREEN HL75 can be different. Some customers need extreme wear resistance, while others prioritize mobility or stacking height. We build the machine exactly as the customer needs it.”

The POWERSCREEN HL75 is used almost anywhere where material transport is crucial: concrete plants, sand and gravel quarries, screening plants, crushers… Anywhere a bulldozer or crane would otherwise have to drive back and forth for dozens of meters. And that’s where this machine makes the difference: more stockpiles, less fuel, less time wasted.

By automatically moving material, operational costs drop immediately. “We think along with the customer,” says Brecht. “Fuel savings are essential today, and machines like this help us work smarter.” The POWERSCREEN HL75 is also mobile on tracks, which means the conveyor can be quickly moved to wherever it’s needed, without any lifting or major machine movements.

Proof of reliability: ArcelorMittal also chooses the POWERSCREEN HL75

The reliability of the POWERSCREEN HL75 isn’t just a promise—it’s a proven fact. At ArcelorMittal, one of Belgium’s largest steel producers, no fewer than seven of these conveyors operate continuously. What began as a stopgap solution has evolved into an integral part of their operations: the POWERSCREEN HL75 helps feed the blast furnaces. “When a machine runs 24/7 in such a demanding industry, you know you have quality on your side,” says Brecht. “And thanks to our service, they know they can always count on us.”

    Robustly built, easy to maintain

Despite its robust configuration, the POWERSCREEN HL75 is relatively low-maintenance. The machine consists of two large belt sections—that’s all it needs to keep running reliably. GM Recycling also provides support for inspections, maintenance, and optimization.

From construction site to steel mill: the POWERSCREEN HL75 proves time and again that it is more than just a conveyor belt. It increases productivity, reduces costs, and makes internal logistics more efficient. With its power, flexibility, and mobile deployability, it is a machine that suits any forward-thinking company.
